XC Sports Equipment AS is a specialist distributor.
We focus on equipment for mountaineering, trekking, polar expeditions, alpine use, and even glamping. Yes, camping is here to stay — and many of us are getting older.
We are a stockholding distributor, and our typical customer is an outdoor store with a passion for steeper, colder, and longer adventures.
XC Sports focuses on multi-channel distribution, built on three core pillars:

Retailers – Supplying outdoor specialty stores across Norway with a strong, curated assortment.

Consumers – Direct-to-consumer sales through digital platforms and Piteraq Tinder & Banditter shops, with a growing focus on knowledge, content and service.

Government – Sales to public authorities through public tenders and framework agreements, as well as targeted web-based solutions for professionals. Our primary focus is on specialized units within fire, rescue, ambulance, police, guiding services, and the military.
In a market saturated with outdoor fashion, we focus on function. We prioritize products that suit Norwegian outdoor life and meet our performance standards. That’s why we also develop our own Norwegian-specific models beyond standard collections — to ensure we offer the best possible range for our customers.
We carry a wide selection of small to mid-sized brands that are true specialists in their fields. Our ambition is to cover most needs an outdoor expert might have, while also offering robust solutions for professional users in defense, emergency services, and adventure guiding. From vapor barriers to umbrellas... well, the latest Helinox umbrellas might be walking out the door soon (we hope!).
